Who we are

Advocado Outreach is a tool that turns supporter answers into personalized letters to decision-makers. It is operated by Arconus, LLC. You can reach us at contact@advocadooutreach.us.

What we collect

From campaign creators: your email address, account profile information from Clerk (our authentication provider), and (if you subscribe to a paid plan) billing information handled by Stripe. We never see or store your payment card number.

From supporters who fill out a campaign: the first name, last name, and email address you enter, plus the answers you provide to the campaign's questions and the generated letter you send. We only collect what is needed to produce and deliver your letter.

Automatically: basic access logs (IP address, browser/user-agent, timestamps) which are kept for a short period for security and debugging.

How we use it

To operate the product: generate letters, deliver confirmation receipts, display campaign analytics to the campaign creator, and meter the sparks used by your account.

To communicate with you: respond to support emails, send transactional confirmations, and (only if you've opted in) occasional product updates.

To comply with our legal obligations and to investigate misuse (spam, fraud, abuse).

Who we share data with

Processors that help us run the product: Clerk (authentication), Neon (database hosting), Anthropic (AI letter generation, where your questionnaire answers are sent to Anthropic to produce the letter and are not used to train their models), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting).

The recipients your campaign is addressed to. When you click "Send from my email," your letter goes from your email client to those recipients. Advocado Outreach is not the sender.

Law enforcement or legal authorities when required by a valid legal request.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not share supporter data with other campaign creators.

How long we keep it

Supporter submissions (answers + generated letter) are kept as long as the associated campaign is active, plus 12 months, unless you or the campaign creator asks for earlier deletion.

Campaign creator accounts and associated data are kept while your account is active and for 12 months after it is closed, after which we delete or anonymize it.

Spark usage records (timestamps and action types for the sparks your account has consumed) are retained alongside your account for billing, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention, and follow the same deletion timeline as the account itself.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing contact@advocadooutreach.us. We honor requests from both campaign creators and supporters.

You can close your account from your account settings, which will stop billing and begin the deletion timeline above.

Security

We use TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest through our database provider, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, email us immediately.

Children

Advocado Outreach is not intended for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll post a notice on the site and update the "Last updated" date below.
